By using MiauDex ("the Bot"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Bot.

2. Description of Service

MiauDex is a Discord bot that provides entertainment through a virtual cat collection system. Users can:

• Collect virtual cats daily
• Trade cats with other users
• View and organize their cat collections
• Participate in community features like leaderboards
• Access premium features through voting
• Receive bot messages in their preferred language based on Discord settings

3. Automatic Data Collection

By using MiauDex, you acknowledge and agree that the Bot automatically collects certain information from your Discord account to provide its services, including:

• Your Discord User ID
• Server (Guild) IDs where you use the Bot
• Your Discord language preference (locale) for localized responses
• Your virtual cat collection and game progress

4. User Conduct

4.1 Acceptable Use

You agree to use MiauDex only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

• Use the Bot to harass, abuse, or harm other users

• Use automated tools or scripts to gain unfair advantages
• Share inappropriate content through bot interactions
• Violate Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines

4.2 Trading Rules

When using the trading system:

• All trades are final once completed
• Users trade at their own risk
• Do not attempt to scam or deceive other users
• Report any issues to the support server

5. Virtual Items

All cats and virtual items in MiauDex have no real-world monetary value. They are digital collectibles provided for entertainment purposes only. We reserve the right to:

• Modify, remove, or add virtual items
• Adjust rarity distributions
• Reset collections in case of technical issues

6. Premium Features

Premium features may be accessed through:

• Voting for the bot on Discord bot lists
• Supporting the bot through donations
• Other promotional activities

Premium benefits are subject to change and may be revoked for Terms violations.

When you vote for MiauDex on bot listing websites, you will receive a thank you message via Discord Direct Message (DM) confirming your vote and any rewards granted. By voting, you consent to receiving these automated messages.

7. Language and Localization

MiauDex automatically detects and uses your Discord language settings to provide localized responses. The Bot supports multiple languages, and your language preference is stored to ensure consistent experience across sessions. Language availability may vary, and not all features may be available in all languages.

8. Third-Party Services

MiauDex integrates with third-party services to provide certain features:

• Discord Platform: The Bot operates entirely on Discord's platform and requires Discord access to function
• Bot Voting Sites: Voting features use external bot listing services (such as top.gg) which have their own terms of service and privacy policies
• Image APIs: Cat images are sourced from third-party services

You are responsible for complying with the terms of service of these third-party platforms when using features that interact with them.

9. Data Collection and Privacy

Please refer to our Privacy Policy for detailed information about data collection, usage, storage, and your rights regarding your personal information.

10. Availability and Maintenance

We strive to keep MiauDex available 24/7, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may:

• Perform scheduled maintenance
• Experience unexpected downtime
• Temporarily disable features for updates

11. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to MiauDex for users who:

• Violate these Terms
• Engage in harmful behavior toward other users
• Attempt to damage or exploit the Bot

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be announced in our support server. Continued use of the Bot after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Disclaimer

MiauDex is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

• Loss of virtual items due to technical issues
• Disputes between users
• Service interruptions
• Any damages arising from Bot usage

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland. Any disputes will be resolved through good faith discussion first.
